Hi I am Somen Mondal, completed my B.Sc. with Chemistry honours from Burdwan University in 2009 and M.Sc. from NIT Durgapur, West Bengal in 2011. I have received my Ph.D. degree in 2017 from IISER Kolkata under the supervision of Dr. Pradipta Purkayastha working on exploring the electron and charge transfer dynamics to and from carbon nanoparticles. After my Ph.D. I joined the group of Prof. Hirendra N. Ghosh at INST-Mohali, 2017 for my first post-doc, working on biexciton generation and dissociation dynamics in nanohybrids system. Currently, I have joined the group of Dr. Nadav Amdursky here in the Technion to explore the spin-selected excited state dynamics in chiral nanoparticles.
